Welcome! We are BATTY Theatre, a community-focused youth theater company coming to the Mid-Peninsula.
Our mission is to bring lighthearted, classic musical theater to life while giving young performers a welcoming place to shine, build confidence, and make lifelong friends.
Every summer, starting in late May, rising 4th through 12th graders will come together to learn and rehearse a full-scale Gilbert & Sullivan operetta. The program culminates in early August with fully costumed, public performances that highlight all of their hard work!

Get ready for an exciting adventure on the high seas! We are thrilled to announce our upcoming production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s beloved classic, The Pirates of Penzance.
It’s packed with fun chorus numbers, hilarious antics, and unforgettable tunes! In our production every single performer will start out as a pirate before transforming into other fun characters as the story unfolds.
